Ha Noi T&T returned to V.League 1 action with a win on Sunday after netting twice in the final ten minutes to beat Than Quang Ninh 2-1 at the Cua Ong Stadium.
In their first league game in over a month due to their AFC Cup commitments, Ha Noi fell behind after just three minutes when Quang Ninh defender Le Bat Hieu popped up to open the scoring.
Despite struggling to break down their opponents for much of the game, the visitors finally found the equaliser in the 80th minute when Gonzalo Marronkle netted.
And seven minutes later, Hoang Vu Samson racked up his seventh goal of the campaign to hand Ha Noi the three points, which were enough to send them six places up to third on the table.
Over at the Bien Hoa Stadium, Dong Nai ended a two-game winless streak after coming from behind twice to defeat Hoang Anh Gia Lai 3-2.
Le Hoang Thien struck after ten minutes to put the visitors ahead, only for Dong Nai to equalise two minutes later courtesy of an Nguyen Hai Anh penalty.
HAGL edged ahead once more in the 40th minute when Timothy Anjembe converted from 12 yards after they had been awarded a spot-kick of their own, but again it did not take long for their opponents to respond; Melquiades Gomez netting to make it 2-2 a minute before the break.
And in the 61st minute, Dong Nai took the lead for the first time when Hai Anh scored his second of the game, which ultimately proved enough to help them claim the victory.
