Semen Padang moved level with leaders Persib Bandung in the Western zone of the Indonesia Super League on Wednesday following a 2-1 win at Persik Kediri.
Kabau Sirah took the lead at the Brawijaya Stadium in the 29th minute thanks to a penalty from Esteban Gabriel Vizcarra, who then doubled his and his side’s tally five minutes from time.
Persik managed to pull one back in the third minute of injury-time from a strike from Dimas Galih Gumilang but it proved to be too little too late, as the visitors held on for the win.
