Home United claimed their fifth straight win in all competition on Thursday evening after cruising to a 4-0 win over Tanjong Pagar United in the S.League.
Lee Kwan-woo opened the scoring for the Protectors in the 31st minute with a sublime freekick on the edge of the box, before he turned provider five minutes after halftime; floating a corner onto the head of Kwon Da-kyung to power home.
Kwon then grabbed his second of the evening six minutes later when he spotted opposition keeper Aurelien Herisson off his line, and proceeded to send a perfectly-weighted lob into the back of the net from inside the centre circle.
And in the 73rd minute, Home completed the rout after intricate passing between Fazrul Nawaz, Yasir Hanapi and Indra Sahdan Daud saw the latter play in a cross that was initially missed by Bruno Castanheira, although Izzdin Shafiq was on hand to fire home at the far post.
Over at the Toa Payoh Stadium, Geylang International came from a goal down to force a 1-1 draw against Balestier Khalsa.
The Tigers took the lead in the 34th minute when Goran Ljubojevic netted his sixth goal of the campaign, latching onto a nod-down from Paul Cunningham and volleying home from close range.
But 13 minutes from time, Leonel Felice headed home a corner to earn Geylang a share of the spoils.
