Semen Padang dropped points in the Western zone of the Indonesia Super League for the second game running on Saturday after playing out a 0-0 draw with Barito Putera.
Having been held to a goalless stalemate by Persija Jakarta in their last outing, Kabau Sirah entered the clash at the Demang Lehman Stadium determined to get back to winning ways.
However, they were just unable to find a way past a stubborn Barito outfit and both sides ultimately settled for a share of the spoils.
Over in the Eastern zone, Persiba Balikpapan claimed their second straight win after defeating Persiram Raja Ampat 3-0 at the Persiba Stadium to move up to sixth on the table.
Ansu Toure fired the hosts ahead two minutes after the half-hour mark, before Patrice Nzekou doubled their tally in the 84th minute.
And just as the clock ticked over into injury-time, Nzekou struck again to wrap up the three points for Beruang Madu.
