Terengganu are through to the quarter-finals of the Malaysia FA Cup after coming from behind to claim a 3-1 extra-time win over Selangor on Wednesday evening.
It was the Red Giants who broke the deadlock in the Round of 16 clash at the Shah Alam Stadium in the 21st minute, when Guilherme broke free inside the box and met a freekick with a deft header into the bottom corner.
But just when it looked like it was Selangor who were headed into the last eight, Vincent Bikana equalised in the 89th minute with his second goal in as many games to force extra-time.
Then, it was the Turtles who took the lead after opposition centre-back Robert Cornthwaite netted an own-goal the 104th minute, before Zairo Anuar Zalani struck right at the end to seal the win for his side.
The result means Terengganu are through to a quarter-final tie against fellow Super League outfit Perak, and remain on course to winning a third FA Cup following their successes in 2000 and 2011.
